Keeper System

Keeper Limits

  1. Maximum Keepers: Each team may keep up to two (2) players per season.

  2. Keeper Duration: A player can only be kept on the same team for a maximum of four (4) consecutive years.

Eligibility Rules

  1. Drafted Requirement: To qualify as a keeper, a player must have been drafted and remain on the team’s end-of-season roster.

    • Players who were dropped at any point are not eligible to be kept.

    • Players acquired via trade are eligible.

  2. Free Agents: Players added from free agency (undrafted) cannot be kept.

  3. First-Round Picks: Players selected in the 1st round of the draft cannot be kept.

Draft Cost

  1. Round Penalty: A keeper will cost one (1) round earlier than the round in which they were originally drafted.

    • Example: A player drafted in the 8th round will be kept in the 7th round the following season.

  2. Quarterbacks: Any quarterback designated as a keeper will default to a 3rd-round pick, unless drafted earlier.


Fantasy Football Punishments

Losing has consequences. The last-place finisher (of the regular season) must select and complete one (1) of the following punishments within a year of their last place validation:

  1. Waxing Challenge – All hair on arms, legs, and chest must be professionally waxed off.

  2. Open Mic Night – Sign up for a comedy open mic and perform; league members are encouraged to attend.

  3. Improv Class – Enroll in and complete an improv class.

  4. Standardized Test – Register for and take the SAT or ACT in person; the score will be shared publicly with the league.

  5. Calendar Photo Shoot – Participate in a themed photo shoot; calendars will be distributed to all league members at the loser’s expense.

  6. Fathead Punishment – Display a custom Fathead of the league champion inside the loser’s home. Must be on a main level or bedroom level floor. No basements, crawlspaces, or attics. Garages will be voted upon.

  7. 5K Run – Run a 5K race in an outfit chosen by the league winner.

Refusal Policy

If the loser refuses to complete the selected punishment:

  • They may be removed from the league, or

  • They must pay $100 to each league member.
